About Us

We started as a small family run business in 1985, with an operating space of 300 sq. ft.

This year will be Lois Robocon's 35th bedding crop. The current production area is now 15,000 sq feet, with staff numbers ranging from 15-20 personnel during production months.

In 2010, Lois was named the "Alberta Greenhouse Grower of the Year",  in recognition of the outstanding floral displays she creates and maintains throughout the Town of Athabasca each year.

In 2012, Lois was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship award from Lions International in recognition of her volunteer work and dedication to the town and community.

In 2015, Lois was presented with the " Integrity Business of the Year" award from the Athabasca Rotary Club for the contribution her business has made to the community.
